Assault CourseThe Assault Course, built on a wooded hillside at the S.E. corner of the site gives any group an opportunity to test their stamina and agility against the clock - See if you can beat the record! Designed with safety in mind, the course uses the natural contours of the site, with a series of different obstacles, providing an exhilarating challenge fun for everyone. The assault course is free to use, but leaders must ensure that the course is adequately supervised. |

Climbing WallBonaly's 25 foot, artificial climbing wall and abseil tower is available for use under experienced supervision. The centre can supply all the necessary equipment (ropes, harnesses, carabineers, helmets and belay devices). Instructors can be arranged with prior arrangement. |

Cub JungleTraditionally Cub Scouts, Beaver Scouts and younger campers take over the Cub Jungle to the East of the camping field. With its totem pole, it is an ideal spot for the younger members of the group to run around and play without getting in the way of the older ones. There are no strict rules applying to this area and all parties have the run of the grounds. |

Grass SledgesIdeal for the younger age group, the sledges require little skill and are the grass equivalent of snow sledging.

Earth BallThe Earth Ball is a massive 6 foot air filled ball. It can be used in the main field for a range of games and is suitable for use by anyone 8 years upwards. Games ideas are available from the Centre Manager. |

Beaver LodgeBeaver Lodeg is located to the west of the field. It's available free for use to any group on the site who have booked the area. It makes a great play area for younger kids and is a great way to fill in spare time. Groups should always be supervised when using the lodge |

OrienteeringA flexible, learner orienteering course has been laid out within the grounds of the centre. The map give the participant clues to the location of each marker (eight in all). Maps are available from the Centre Manager. Groups may set up their own orienteering courses with prior arrangement with the Centre Manager. |

PioneeringA supply of pioneering poles is available for training and activities. A limited amount can be made available for a permanent site project whilst camping. A supply of mainline pioneering rope (not for use on sites) can be supplied on request. |

Uni-hocThe volleyball court may also be used for uni-hoc Equipment can be provided |

VolleyballThe volleyball court is situated to the west of the camping area. A net can be provided. |

Wide GamesCubs and Scouts always look forward to camp for the wide games. Bonaly can be used throughout the year for these great games whether you are using the facilities for a camp or just an evening. The Games Compendium also hosted by Edinburgh Scouts is a great source of information for planning wide games at a moments notice. The Centre Manager is able to supply materials such as printed notes and flags, please ask in advance. |

Aerial RunwayA permanent feature of the site throughtout the summer months, this popular activity provides thrills and excitement for all it's users.
After being harnessed into the system, the participant flies through the air along
a 120m long zipline before coming to a halt at the foot of the back hill.
